Frontenacs Trade Tommy Budnick to Storm for Picks
The Kingston Frontenacs have traded defenseman Tommy Budnick to the Guelph Storm in exchange for a trio of OHL Priority selections.

Tommy Budnick – LD
A native of Petoskey, MI, Tommy Budnick, a 6’ 1”, 190 lbs. defenseman was drafted by Kingston in 2020. The 3rd round pick appeared in 153 games for the Frontenacs from 2021-2023. He has scored 6 goals and 41 assists, while recording 154 penalty minutes. In 11 career playoff games, he added 2 assists.

For personal reasons Tommy was seeking a new opportunity and we are glad we were able to provide him with that. Playing with Guelph, he will have the chance to regularly play games closer to home.
