Nolan Buttar Commits to the Frontenacs
Kingston, Ontario – The Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club is pleased to announce the signing of forward Nolan Buttar to an OHL Scholarship and Development agreement.
Nolan was selected by the Frontenacs in the second round, using the 26th overall pick during the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
“Nolan has high character and a high compete level.” said General Manager, Kory Cooper. “He is a player that can play many different roles because of how strong his 200-foot game is. He is a great team player. Nolan possesses all the qualities that we look for in a player joining our organization.”
The 6’1”, 185 lbs. forward from Lindsay, ON joins the Frontenacs from the Peterborough Petes U16 AAA program. During the 2023-24 season, Nolan scored 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points in 35 regular season games. He added 4 goals and 9 assists in 13 playoff games.
“I’m excited to represent the Frontenacs.” Said Buttar. “It’s such and honor and a privilege. I can’t wait to interact with the fans and the players and learn from the coaches. It’s going to be exciting!”
