Mason’s Miracles: Giving Back to the Kingston Community
Mason will be personally donating 50 cents for every save that he makes during the 2023-24 OHL season to the pediatric wing and Kingston Health & Sciences Centre at Kingston General Hospital. In addition to the financial aspect, he also plans to donate his time by scheduling regular visits with the children in the pediatric wing.
The Kingston Frontenacs and Mason Vaccari are pleased to have Charette Custom Homes Inc. as an official matching donor of Mason’s Miracles throughout the 2023-24 season. With Charette Custom Homes Inc. coming on board as a proud supporter of Mason’s Miracles and matching Mason’s save donations throughout the season, the end of year donation will make a much larger impact on the community.

“Kingston has been good to me, and I want to give back to the community.” said Vaccari. “I chose the pediatric wing of the hospital as the beneficiary because I know that being a sick child is difficult and scary. I want to help ensure that the children of Kingston get the best possible care to ensure they are treated and can return to home and school as quickly as possible and that they are as happy and healthy as they can be.”

Mask Contest
Mason held a competition inviting local children to design his goalie mask for the 2023-24 season, with the top three designs voted on by the community. Ultimately, a winning design by 13-year-old Ethan McBride was selected and the pattern was worn proudly by Mason all season long. The mask has recently been purchased through auction with all proceeds being donated to “Mason’s Miracles”.
