Frontenacs Acquire Alec Belanger in Trade with Ottawa 67’s
Kingston, Ontario – The Kingston Frontenacs have completed a trade to acquire defenceman Alec Belanger from the Ottawa 67’s. In exchange for Belanger, the 67’s will receive a 2nd round pick in 2023, a 3rd round pick in 2024, and a 5th round pick in 2025.
Belanger is a 6’ 0”, 191 lbs. defenceman from Barrie, Ontario. He has spent three seasons as a member of the Ottawa 67’s organization. In 104 career games he has scored 15 goals and 31 assists for 46 points while recording a plus 20 rating.

Alec was selected in the third round (#44) of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. The left shot defenceman will bring experience to the Frontenacs blueline and he should make an immediate impact on the team.
