Seven Attack Players Off to NHL Camps
National Hockey League clubs will open their Training camps for rookies starting next week. Seven members of the Owen Sound Attack will be among those vying for a spot in main camps and a spot with an NHL club which includes the teams four drafted players Colby Barlow (Winnipeg), Cedrick Guindon (Montreal), Kaleb Lawrence (Los Angeles) and Servac Petrovsky (Minnesota) along with James Petrovski, Sam Sedley and Jackson Stewart who received invites to camp with the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators respectively.
Guindon, Lawrence and Petrovsky will make their second appearances at their respective teams camps having participated last fall after being drafted in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Barlow will make his first appearance after being drafted 18th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in this past July’s NHL Entry Draft. Petrovski and Sedley will have some familiarity when they hit the ice with the Rangers and Flyers respectively, with both players having been invites to their teams summer development camps. This will be Stewarts first trip to an NHL camp.

As the above players head to NHL camps the Attacks pre-season takes a bit of pause, but will resume with a neutral site game at the P & H Centre in Hanover on Wednesday, September 20 against the Barrie Colts. Tickets for this game are sold out. They will then finish off the pre-season against the North Bay Battalion on Saturday, September 23 at 2pm at the Bayshore.
