Parking Policy
The Owen Sound Attack in partnership with the City of Owen Sound are proud to offer complimentary parking in both the north and south parking lots to all fans, employees and volunteers attending Attack home games at Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. This privilege helps ensure that the Ontario Hockey League product in Sarnia remains an affordable opportunity for all. The City of Owen Sound also offers a reserved parking program for ticketing events at the Bayshore. This program is run entirely through City Hall.
In partnership with the Attack and the City of Owen Sound, Fairmount Security reserves the right to enforce all rules as it pertains to parking on site. This includes the right to ticket, and in some scenarios, tow vehicles that are found to be in violation of the policy below.

Fan Code of Conduct
The Owen Sound Attack, Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and the City of Owen Sound are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable hockey experience for all guests in and around the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
The Attack will immediately action the following behaviors as they represent a threat to the safety of the event:
- Fighting and/or inciting others to fight or inciting or enraging in unruly or disruptive behavior
- Causing significant damage to the property
- Using (including on any sign or other visible representation) political, threatening, abusive, insulting, offensive language and/or gestures, which includes racist, homophobic, xenophobic sexist or otherwise inappropriate language or behavior.
- Threatening and/or abusive behavior directed towards other fans, players, officials or staff members will be subject to sanctions even if don outside the time period of an OHL sanctioned event (including on social media).
- Entering or attempting to enter the ice surface, dressing room area, tunnels or any otherwise restricted area.
- Possession or use of a restricted item or attempting to introduce one inside the venue
- Throwing any objects onto the ice surface during play
- Failing to follow directions of venue staff regarding compliance with the Fan Code of Conduct stadium policies and emergency procedures
- Declining to promptly return any piece of equipment that enters the viewing when requested.
- Inappropriate consumption of alcoholic beverages, which includes purchasing for, possession of or consumption by a minor and/or person who has been refused service by the venue staff.
The listed behaviors are prohibited based on safety and violations and will be subject to sanctions.
LEVEL 1 OFFENCES
- Fighting
- Fan Violence
- Assaults/batteries on staff, vendors or other patrons
- Using racial, sexual, xenophobic, and/or homophobic language (including on signs or visible representations) or gestures or conduct
- Throwing objects, of any kind, towards the ice surface, players, and/or officials
- Causing significant damage to the property
- Provoking and/or inciting threatening or abusive behavior
- Possession or use of a prohibited item or attempting to introduce one inside the venue
- Alcohol management – purchasing, or providing for consumption, alcohol for an underage minor and/or person who has been refused service by venue staff.
- Intrusion onto the Ice surface or any area deemed to have restricted access.
SANCTIONS: Level 1 offenses are considered serious offenses. These will carry a ban ranging from 6 months to one year based on aggravating and mitigating factors.
Any individual must provide a written request for readmission to have his/her access to be reinstated.
LEVEL 2 OFFENCES
- Targeted using obscene or abusive language or gestures or displaying any inappropriate sign or visible representation.
- Entering, or attempting to enter, any unauthorized area outside designated critical areas.
- Alcohol management – excessive consumption of alcohol
- Ignoring instructions by team, city or venue staff
- Refusing to return any piece of equipment upon the request of venue staff
- Other misconduct where the venue is the victim, i.e. theft, minor property damage, etc.
SANCTIONS: Level 2 offenses carry a range of suspensions, depending on if they are the 1st or 2nd offense. Prior to the 1st penalty, individuals can be given a warning for their behavior.
- 1st offense ranges from 1-2 months
- 2nd offense ranges from 3-5 months
- 3rd offense (in a 12-month period) will trigger a 1-year ban
Any person who commits a 3rd offense in a 12-month period and receives a 1-year ban must provide a written request for readmission to have his/her access to be reinstated.
