Last Time Out

The Portland Winterhawks won their 2026-27 season opener with a 3-2 overtime victory against the Everett Silvertips. 20-year-old defenseman Avery Laliberte scored his first-career Western Hockey League goal. Luke Wilfley restored the Hawks’ lead after the Silvertips tied the game. Then, with the teams tied at two after 60 minutes, Jordan Duguay buried a pass from Stevie Grumley on an odd-man rush up the ice.

Fan Fest

Get to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Commons by 3:00 PM this afternoon to greet this year’s Winterhawks players as they arrive at the arena!

Then enjoy the pregame festivities outside with your fellow Winterhawks fans and the Rosebuds Dance Team!

Throughout Fan Fest, there will be three raffle prizes, including a signed player puck, a 10 Flex Pack of tickets, and a signed Ondřej Štěbeták jersey. Winners will be drawn at 3:30, 4:00, and 4:30 PM.

Arrive early and head to Garden Tavern at 1825 N Williams Avenue in Portland.

Enjoy the atmosphere of hanging out with fellow Winterhawks fans before puck drop. Be sure to ask about their pregame specials as well!

The Barbers Haircut Experience:

Back by popular demand, The Barbers return to the Glass Palace for in-game haircuts, adding a fresh cut to your game-night experience! Fans can stop by The Barber’s chair in the Hawks attack zone corner to sign up, but be sure to get there early as spots fill up fast, and availability is limited. Don’t miss your chance to leave the rink looking sharper than ever!

Winterhawks 50/50 Raffle:

Tonight’s Winterhawks Foundation 50/50 Raffle is live and is already over $500!

Half of the prize pot will go to our winner, and the other portion of the proceeds will benefit Portland youth hockey, the Tom’s Tykes program, and the Players’ Education Fund.
