WINTERHAWKS FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
The Portland Winterhawks are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans and players. Everyone should expect and help to promote an environment where people are treated in a courteous, professional, considerate and respectful manner by all fans, staff, team and event personnel. The Winterhawks will not tolerate unsafe, abusive, unlawful or offensive conduct at our games.
For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection or possible arrest and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, and vaping are expressly prohibited anywhere on arena premises;
- Violence, fighting, threatening, taunting, physical or verbal harassment;
- Using foul language and making abusive, sexist, racist, offensive or obscene remarks or gestures;
- Disruptive, harmful or disorderly behavior;
- Any disruption of the game or event by guest’s actions;
- Throwing objects of any kind or enter the ice surface;
- Hit or pound on the glass;
- Intoxication or any signs of impairment related to alcohol and drug consumption;
- Possession of alcohol by a minor or providing alcohol to a minor;
- Possession of alcohol not purchased inside the venue;
- Any act which, in the opinion of Winterhawks or Rose Quarter officials, presents a risk to the safety of fans or staff.
PLEASE CONDUCT YOURSELF BY:
- Respecting staff, fans, and teams in the building
- Drinking responsibly
- Sitting in your ticketed seat and showing your ticket on request
- Except in the event of an emergency, please refrain from entering the aisles while game play is in process. Please wait for a break in play.
- Ensuring that your clothing, signs, and banners are inoffensive
- Ensuring that you do not block another guest’s view of the event
Season ticket, package members, and group buyers are reminded that they are responsible for the behavior of anyone using their tickets and that failure to abide by this Code of Conduct by the Rose Quarter and Portland Winterhawks, may result in loss of season, package, group, and ticket privileges.
Venue staff are trained to intervene when necessary to help ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Guests are encouraged to report any violations of the Code of Conduct or any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard or fan services member.
