Toronto Marlboros forward Pierce Mbuyi sits atop all tournament point-getters following Wednesday’s action, registering six goals, seven assists and 13 points in four games played. Mbuyi ended the day on a high note, tying the tournament’s single-game point record (4-2-6) in the Marlies’ commanding 6-1 win over Ottawa Myers Automotive. Peterborough’s Colin Fitzgerald (7-4-11) and Toronto’s Adam Valentini (4-7-11) trail close behind, each tallying 11 points in four games. Thursday’s quarterfinal schedule is set as eight teams are left standing in their quest for OHL Cup supremacy, including the GTHL champion Vaughan Kings and OMHA champion Barrie Colts.
