Frasca signs with the Pittsburgh Penguins
The National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins have signed overage forward, Jordan Frasca, to an entry-level contract.
Frasca, a veteran OHL forward has played in 173 regular season OHL games. He was acquired from the Windsor Spitfires by the Kingston Frontenacs in August of 2019.
Since joining the Frontenacs, Frasca has been a solid two-way player for the Black and Gold. In 102 games with the Frontenacs, he has registered 47 goals and 61 assists for 108 points.
“The Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club couldn’t be more pleased for Jordan,” said General Manager, Kory Cooper. “He has worked extremely hard to earn the opportunity at a professional hockey career. Jordan’s leadership and team first approach has shown through this season and has led to his individual success.”
After putting up 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists) in 58 games during his first season with the Frontenacs in 2019-2020, Frasca is having a career season. Through 44 games this season, he has set new career highs in every major stat including goals (32), assists (33), points (65) and plus/minus (+29).
