Team Ontario Wins Tune Up

Team Ontario opened up their schedule on Wednesday with a 5-2 win over the Czech Republic in Exhibition play. Defenseman Chris Bigras is representing the Attack for Team Ontari in Windsor. 

Brent Pedersen opened the scoring for Ontario before the Czech squad evened the scoring, leaving the game knotted at one entering the second period. Ontario pulled away in the second frame with goals by Jordan Subban and Brandon Robinson. Patrick Zdrahal would score his second of the game for the Czech Republic before Bo Horvat and Trevor Murphy would seal the deal for team Ontario.

Spencer Martin stopped 29 of 31 shots in goal for the win.

Bigras and his Ontario mates are back in action this afternoon at 2:00pm when they take on the German squad at the WFCU Centre in Windsor.
