Palmu your Becker Shoes Player of the Week
The Owen Sound Attack has named Finnish forward Petrus Palmu the teams Becker Shoes Player of the week for the week ending Sunday, March 6th, 2016.
Palmu started off his week in a huge way last Monday against Niagara when he netted a career high four goals and added an assist in a 5-2 Attack win en route to being named the games first star.
Petrus and the Attack travelled North for a three game road trip and after being held off the score sheet in a 4-1 win in North Bay, the diminutive forward grabbed an assist in a 5-3 win over Sudbury on Friday.
On Saturday evening in Barrie, Palmu found his scoring touch again, notching two goals in a 5-3 loss. Palmu picked up six goals and two assists in four games last week for the Attack and has tallied ten goals and six assists in his last nine games to take over the Attack scoring lead.
The Attack is back in action this Wednesday when they host the Barrie Colts for Rogers TV night. Game time at the Bayshore is 7:00pm.
