Catenacci is Attacker of the Week
The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Daniel Catenacci the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week. The Attack played three games this past week, going 2-1.
On Friday night, Catenacci and his Attack teammates made what could be their final trip to the Powerade Centre in Brampton to take on the Battalion. Catenacci scored the Attack’s third and fourth goals, in a 5-3 win.
Catenacci was drafted 1st overall by the Greyhounds in 2009 and on Saturday night, he took on his former team at the Bayshore. The Buffalo Sabres prospect torched his former team by notching a goal and four assists in a 7-5 Attack win.
The Newmarket native currently sits tied for 2nd in OHL scoring with a host of other players at 32 points. Catenacci, along with Jordan Binnington will represent Team OHL in Sarnia on Monday night when they take on the Russian Selects in the Subway Super Series.
