Attack vs. Otters TONIGHT!
The Owen Sound Attack will try for a season high four wins in a row this evening when Bayshore Broadcasting presents the Attack vs. the Erie Otters this evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. The Attack is coming off back to back home wins against the Sarnia Sting and Mississauga Majors which saw them collect four out of a possible four points.
Erie Feeling – The Attack will be without the services of defenseman Geoffrey Schemitsch (upper body) as he left Saturday evening’s game against the Majors and did not return. Erie comes into Owen Sound having dropped their last four decisions and are 3-16-0-0 on the season, with one of their three wins coming against the Attack in early October. Erie won their first meeting in a high scoring 7-5 game which saw Erie superstar Greg McKegg pick up an astounding 6 assists, so keeping McKegg at bay will be a required task for the Attack this evening. Erie has allowed a league high 96 goals against, but their goals against has improved since the return of overage goaltender Ramis Sadikov to the lineup.
Last 10 Games – Erie (2-8-0-0) 5th in MidWest Division, Owen Sound (5-3-1-1) 3rd in MidWest Division
Look Out For – Ramis Sadikov has 2 of the Otters 3 wins on the season and gives the team a chance to win on most night. His 3.94GAA and .897 save percentage may not scream game stealer, but make no mistake, he can certainly do so.
