Attack Set for Another Three Game Weekend
After going 2-1 during this past weekend’s three game road trip up north, the Owen Sound Attack are primed for another three game weekend, as they are set to play a home and home with rival Guelph Storm, before a Sunday matinee against the SOO GreyHounds.
The puck drops Friday night when the Attack visit the Storm for the first half of the home and home double-header. This will be the second such mini series between the Midwest Division Rivals in just three weeks, with Owen Sound looking for slightly better results. During the last two meetings, the Storm claimed a shootout and overtime victory, so Owen Sound will be hungry for some revenge heading into Friday night.
The Storm aren’t the only team that Owen Sound will look to exact some revenge on, as the Attack will also look to avenge a disappointing lose this past Sunday, this coming Sunday when they welcome the SOO GreyHounds to the Bayshore. Though it will once again be the third game of the weekend, this time the Attack will be in the friendly confines of the Bayshore as they look to show the Hounds why they are a top team in the Western Conference.
Of note for Attack fans to watch going into the weekend is captain Colby Barlow’s current 10 game goal scoring streak. The 2023 NHL Draft prospect, set a new franchise record this past Sunday with a goal late in the game against the SOO, and will look to continue to build on the streak this weekend.
Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday home games are available at the MacVicor and McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office by calling 519-371-7452 or going online to tickets.attackhockey.com. As always fans can follow the Attack on the road either by watching on Rogers TV Grey County or listening to 560 CFOS Bear Radio.
The Weekend Preview is presented by Joe Tomatoes located in the Galaxy plaza on the Sunset strip.
