Attack and Scotiabank Announce 3-Year Partnership
The Owen Sound Attack are excited to formally announce they have agreed to a three-year partnership agreement with Scotiabank as the teams Official Bank through the 2024-25 season. The Attack welcomed Scotiabank as a partner prior to the Celebrity and Alumni game at the 2023 Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada festivities.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Scotiabank” said Dr. Bob Severs, Owen Sound Attack President. “To be able to team up with such a great organization and to work together to grow the game in our community were key factors in partnering with Scotiabank.”
“Building on our tremendous Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada event, I’m proud to join forces with the Owen Sound Attack – these partnerships bring us closer to our communities and customers with meaningful experiences that go a long way in supporting diverse audiences across our Owen Sound and greater Grey Bruce communities,” comments Rhonda White, Branch Manager Owen Sound, Scotiabank.
“At Scotiabank, we are focused on being a force for good by opening up the game and championing inclusivity with our hockey for all platform, while being a force for growth by deepening community relationships and creating unique customer engagement opportunities,” comments Sophia Miller, District Vice President Ontario Central West, Scotiabank.
Scotiabank and the Attack came to an agreement that will see the two community leaders become Official Partners through the 2024-2025 season. Around the Bayshore, you will start notice an increased presence for Scotiabank with both a section of seating and a suite being rebranded. Off the ice, there is opportunity for greater collaboration in growing the game and making it more accessible to everyone will be key long-term factors to the legacy of this partnership.
“When we met with the Scotiabank team, we were immediately impressed by their commitment to inclusivity and grassroots hockey” said Attack Manager of Marketing and Communications, Greg Hoddinott. “We obviously love the game and want to be a part of the solution that can see the game grow and be more inclusive and accessible. We are hopeful that as we work through the initial three years, we can come up with ways to begin the journey to accomplishing this goal.”
