Wilson Gets Becker Shoes Nod Again

The Owen Sound Attack has announced that Captain Garrett Wilson is the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Monday, January 31, 2011. Wilson, an Elmvale, ON. native was also named the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week last week after potting four points in three games.

Wilson and his Attack teammates squared off in a Midwest division showdown with Kitchener on Wednesday. Wilson was able to collect two goals and two assists and a 5-3 Attack win, giving them some breathing room between them and Kitchener. There was no rest for the wicked on Saturday and Sunday as the Attack went head to head with the Erie Otters. Wilson once again found the scoresheet, scoring once in a 6-3 Attack win. The Florida Panthers draft pick also picked up an assist on Sunday afternoon to extend his point scoring streak to seven games that has seen the power forward tally five goals and seven assists.

The Attack travel to Peterborough to take on the Petes this Thursday before returning home for another huge home stand that will see them take on the Guelph Storm on Saturday and the Western Conference leading Saginaw Spirit on Sunday afternoon.
