Nolan Seed Named Attack Player of the Week
Owen Sound Attack defensemen Nolan Seed has been named the Attack Player of the Week.
A native of Newborn, ON, Seed appeared in his 200th OHL contest during the Attack’s home game Saturday night. The overage defensemen collected four assists over the Bears three game weekend, including a pair in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to the Flint Firebirds.
Seed is the longest tenured player on the Attack roster this season, having been with the team since being drafted 15th overall in 2018. Throughout his 200 games as a Bear, Seed has netted 11 goals and 44 assists, and is currently having his best career season.
As his teammates call him “Six”, the overage defensemen has brought a calming veteran voice to a still young Attack team, and will be crucial in Owen Sound’s push for a deep playoff run later this spring.
