Landen Hookey for Attack’s Player of the Week
The Owen Sound Attack announced Landen Hookey as their Player of the Week running from October 12th – October 18th, 2024.
The Sarnia, ON native was drafted into the OHL by the Soo Greyhounds as a 9th Round Pick (# 164 overall) in 2020. Hookey was then traded to OS in the 2022-23 season where he would develop and continue to grow in his skills.
This will be Hookey’s third season with the Owen Sound Attack, having a total of 28 goals, 27 assists in 104 OHL regular season games. This has week, Hookey not only aided the Attack in winning two of three games this past weekend against teams such as the Niagara Icedogs, Peterborough Petes and North Bay Battalion but also broke an Attack Franchise record of “fastest three goals by one player” during the game with Peterborough. Hookey made his hat-trick in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
As of the Attack’s 2024-25 season, fans have seen Hookey with 4 goals paired with 4 assists in a total of 8 games played.
