Carter George Named Attack Player of The Week
The Attack have named Goaltender Carter George as their Attack Player of The Week.
Appearing in all three games over the weekend (as relief in the 3rd game for Matthew Koprowski), George made quite the statement. Earning the achievement title of “Attack’s first goaltender goal in franchise history”, 11th goalie in OHL history.
George in total made 97 saves against the collective of the Ottawa 67’s, Kingston Frontenacs and Peterborough Petes. Averaging at 0.9226 SV% over the last three games, George has becoming a bussing topic for following fans as well as league followers.
The LA Kings Draft pick has been with the Attack for 2 years now, being drafted by Owen Sound in 2022 as a third round pick (#53 overall) in the OHL Priority Draft. With much of a season left for the Attack, there is much left for George to do.
Perhaps even another goal…
