Bryant Named Playoff Week 1 – Huron Tractor Player of the Week
Forward Gavin Bryant has been named the Huron Tractor Player of the Week, for the first week of playoff action.
Bryant had a goal in the Attack’s Game 1 win on Friday night, an empty netter that sealed the win late in regulation. The rookie centre also picked up an assist in Game 2 when he fed Julian Fantino a beautiful pass in the slot, for Fantino’s second goal of the game.
Along with providing some offence, Bryant was also a big part in playing a shutdown role, as he was matched up against Brennan Othmann’s line as much as possible. This was a job that the young centre has thrived in all season, being relied upon on the penalty kill and in the final minutes of play when defending the lead.
Bryant and the Attack left Flint with a split series (1-1) and will look to take advantage of home ice Monday night!
