The Attack Release Second Round Schedule
The Owen Sound Attack will square off against the Plymouth Whalers in game one of the Western Conference Semi Finals this Thursday night at 7:05pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. The game will be televised nationally on Rogers Sportsnet, the first nationally televised game from the Bayshore since the 2005 OHL All-Star Game.
“I think it is a very good thing for the team, but more importantly for the city.”, stated Brent Fisher, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “It is a wonderful opportunity to show a national audience the pride that our fans have for this team. The building will be loud and the players are excited. We are all looking forward to it.”
Thursday’s game will mark the first time a second round series has been played in Owen Sound since the spring of 2006. The series against Plymouth will be a 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 format that will see the Attack out of the Bayshore from April 15th-17th to accommodate the annual Home and Cottage Expo.
Tickets for the first two home games of the series are on sale at the Attack Box Office in the front lobby of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre or by calling (519) 371-7452. Games 1 and 2 can also be purchased online by visiting www.attackhockey.com. Season ticket holders are reminded that they have until 1:00pm the day before the game to claim their seats or they will be sold to the general public. The full schedule is listed below.
All road games can be heard live on Grey Motors Bear Radio with Fred Wallace on 560 CFOS. Games in Plymouth will not be shown on Rogers TV local Channel 53 due to restrictions from the U.S., however; fans wanting to watch the game can do so via OHL Livestream online by clicking https://ohl.neulion.com/ohl/ .
