Running with the Bulls
The Attack will be looking to get a win at home as Cameron Brace and the Belleville Bulls visit the Bayshore on Saturday night. This will mark only the second home game for Owen Sound this month; the last being a hard fought loss to Oshawa.
Thriving on the team since returning to the ice is Brayden Rose, who just came off an amazing week which saw the defenseman score 1 goal and 3 assists while logging some serious minutes for the Attack. This last streak will leave the fourth year veteran with 8 points in 14 games so far this season.
With Rose, Holden Cook has similarly put together a successful season so far. The right winger has already hit the 20 point mark this season, which sets him only 3 points away from breaking his previous record, set last year in 65 games played. He will try to break his personal best while continuing his strong defensive play, highlighted by his plus/minus rating of +7.
Kyle Hope and Kurtis Gabriel will also look to continue their solid play on Saturday night. Hope, who tallied one assist in Owen Sound’s last loss to the Generals, has been a consistent force for the Attack all season, scoring 19 points in 21 games. Gabriel has also put up strong numbers all season, scoring 20 points in only 18 games played.
Saturday, November 23-13: Belleville @ Owen Sound
Cameron Brace will lead the Bulls to the Bayshore in the centre’s first game in Owen Sound since being traded earlier this season. This contest will be the first of two held between the teams this season, with the second scheduled in February, where the Attack will visit Belleville. Goaltender Charlie Graham will be out of the line-up for the Bulls on Saturday, leaving Banitsiotis and Da Silva available for duties against the Attack.
The Bulls currently sit last in their division, but hold a roster of talented players which include NHL draft picks Brendan Gaunce and Jordan Subban.
Look Out For: Brendan Gaunce has continued to produce for Belleville. The talented NHL first rounder currently has 23 points in 20 games played this season.
