The Owen Sound Attack is proud to announce that the inaugural REACH.Shoot.Score. fundraising initiative has raised over $41,000 in support of the REACH Centre of Grey/Bruce.
The REACH.Shoot.Score festivities began on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at East Side Mario’s for a Celebrity Serve where players served up delicious food to over 100 Attack fans that were supporting the REACH Centre.
Then, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 the Attack wore specialty jerseys in the squad’s 4-3 victory over the Peterborough Petes that saw a hugely successful post game live jersey auction, in game silent auction, bucket pass, and chuck-a-puck that contributed to the grand total of $41,091.45 raised for the REACH Centre.
“Saturday night’s initial REACH.Shoot.Score. game was an amazing night and we couldn’t be happier to help raise money, but most importantly awareness for an extremely deserving group,” said Attack Director of Public Relations, Shaun Bisson.
“REACH is a fantastic organization that provides beneficial services to a number of people and we’re happy to support them in any way that we can,” he added.
The REACH. Shoot. Score. initiative wouldn’t have been possible if not for the efforts of our partners; Baywest Motor Inc., Bellwyck Packaging, Bayshore Broadcasting, East Side Mario’s, Avenue A Advertising, Graham Construction, Career Horizons, as well as a number of anonymous donors. The Attack and the REACH Centre extend their sincerest thanks to each of these groups for their heartfelt contributions.
