Petgrave – Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that Matt Petgrave has been named the club’s Becker shoes Attacker of the week for the week ending Sunday, February 20th.

Petgrave, an 18 year old from Brampton, ON. was held pointless on Wednesday in Erie, but returned to Niagara to play his former team on Thursday and did not disappoint. Petgrave notched a goal and two assists in an emotional 4-3 Attack win over the Ice Dogs, while playing significant minutes on the blue line.

On Sunday, the Attack took on the Generals in a contest that was originally scheduled for Saturday evening. Petgrave once again stepped up big, tallying the first goal of the game on a gorgeous one-timer and adding an assist on the game tying goal in the last minute of the third period to tie the game at three.

Overall, Petgrave has two goals and three assists, bringing his regular season point total to 35.

The Attack is back in action on home ice this Saturday when they play host to the Guelph Storm in a Midwest division match-up.

Game time is 7:30pm.
