Nastasiuk Attacker of the Week
The Owen Sound Attack has named rookie forward Zach Nastasiuk the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 22nd.
Nastasiuk, the Attack’s 1st Round Pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection helped the Attack gain three out of a possible six points this past week against Plymouth and London.
On Wednesday evening, Nastasiuk had maybe his best game in the Ontario Hockey League, notching a goal and two assists en route to being named the games 2nd Star in a 5-4 Attack win over Plymouth.
After being shut out in London on Friday, the Attack were back home to the Knights on Saturday in front of a jam packed crowd at the Bayshore. Nastasiuk once again found his way onto the score sheet, assisting on Joseph Blandisi’s 15th of the season.
The Barrie native finished the week with a goal and three assists to go along with a +3 rating. The power forward now has seven goals and four assists on the campaign.
The Attack is back in action on home ice this Saturday and Sunday when they play host to the Guelph Storm and Ottawa 67’s.
