Mignardi – Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named overage forward Robby Mignardi the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 5th, 2011. Mignardi’s contributions lead the Attack to three wins over the week en route to their seventh overall.

Robby, a Richmond Hill native was held scoreless in a 5-1 win over the Peterborough Petes, however; he showed up in a big way on the weekend, contributing two goals in a 5-1 win over the Guelph Storm on Saturday night. Mignardi and his mates had little time to rest as Saginaw came to town on Sunday afternoon for a battle for first in the Western Conference. Mignardi once again brought his “A” game, notching a goal and an assist to go along with a +2 rating in a 5-4 Attack win.

Overall, Mignardi finished with three goals, an assist and a very responsible +5 rating. The Attack is now four points ahead of Saginaw for first overall in the Western Conference and head on the road this Thursday for pivotal matchups in Windsor, Saginaw and Plymouth.
