Knights Rock Attack
In a penalty filled contest at the John Labatt Centre in London Friday night, the London Knights rocked our Attack scoring 4 unanswered goals on route to a 4 – 1 victory.
Vladislav Namestnikov opened the scoring with his 10th of the season on Attack netminder Jordan Binnington. A power play marker at 10:37.
Andreas Athanasiou made it a 2-0 game with his 8th of the season at 13:55 and period one closed at 2-0 Knights.
Things didn’t go any better for our Attack in period two. Scott Harrington scored with a blast from the point at 7:29, his 4th of the season and to put the last nail in the coffin, Stephen Sanza scored a shorthanded goal at 13:56. His 10th of the season. Newly acquired Michael Zador replaced Jordan in the Attack goal.
Working a power play, Jesse Blacker and Geoffrey Schemitsch organized a nice looking play before Robby Mignardi snapped his 15th of the season at 15:18 of the second. The lone Attack goal.
Final score London 4 – Owen Sound 1. Final shots on net were 41 – 30 London. The Attack were 1-8 on the power play. The Knights 1-7.

Our Attack entertain the Niagara Ice Dogs Saturday, December 18th. The only regular season visit by the Ice Dogs. Game time at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, J.D. McArthur Arena, is 7:30 p.m.
