Hope – Becker Shoes Winner
The Owen Sound Attack has named veteran goaltender Brandon Hope the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 13th.
Hope, a native of Canton MI went 1-1 last week and appeared in all three Attack games, earning his first Ontario Hockey League Shutout on Saturday in a 1-0 win over the North Bay Battalion. In the three contests combined, Hope gathered a 2.51GAA and a save percentage of .920.
The fourth year net minder sits 8th amongst OHL Goalies with a 3.04 GAA.
Hope and the Attack is back in action on Friday when they travel to Sarnia. All of the action can be seen live on Rogers TV Local Channel 53 or heard live on Kia of Owen Sound/Terry’s Trailer Service Bear Radio with Fred Wallace.
The Attack return home on Saturday night to take on the Kingston Frontenacs. Kingston has a trio of players who are all potential first round NHL Picks next spring in Roland McKeown, Sam Bennett and Spencer Watson.
