The Owen Sound Attack have Partnered up again this year with the Bluewater office of the Canadian Cancer Society. We are excited to team up with them for our traditional Hockey Fights Cancer Game! During the 2019-2020 season we were able to start this tradition with the Canadian Cancer Society, we are excited to announce the Third annual Hockey Fights Cancer Game will be Saturday November 5th, 2022, when the London Knights come to town at the Bayshore.
100% of funds raised through charitable efforts leading up to and on that night are used to support locals living with cancer. Programs such as lodging, transportation and support services rely on money raised.

Always a fan favourite the annual Charity Game Chuck-a-Puck never disappoints, providing fans with the opportunity to win a beautiful and unique piece of Jewellery courtesy of DC Taylor Jewellery in Owen Sound, as well as other prizes sponsored by Drivers Seat for simply being the closest puck to centre ice. Fans can purchase the throwable foam pucks online or in the concourse at the game.
BUCKET PASS
During the first TV timeout volunteers move through the seats and ask fans to put any spare change into the bucket to help raise funds for events.
‘I FIGHT FOR’ SIGNS presented by HAVE1.com, ATTACK CANCER BOSTON PIZZA SPECIAL, & SILENT AUCTION.
Fans are provided the opportunity to support Hockey Fights Cancer before the game by purchasing an ‘I Fight For’ sign for just $2. These signs are displayed throughout the arena, including the tunnel to the Attack dressing room, to remind the players who they are fighting for.
Fans can also visit Boston Pizza in Owen Sound during the month of October and purchase the Attack Cancer combo, with 10% from the sales of this item benefit the Hockey Fights Cancer event. Boston Pizza in Owen Sound also will provide a round up fundraising opportunity where you can round up your bill to show your support. The Attack kicked off the Boston Pizza special with our Celebrity serve on September 28th, when players served fans food, drinks, pictures, and autographs while raising money towards our game.
The Attack will hold a silent auction during the game where fans can bid on great prizes including: Attack autographed equipment, a signed authentic Sidney Crosby jersey, KitchenAid appliances, luggage packages, hand-made quilts, spa packages, and more.
HFC TOQUE SALE & PRE-ORDER
Through the Attack Shack store fans can pre-order any of our 2 HFC fleece-lined toques, with all proceeds benefitting the HFC game night. Toques are expected to arrive following the game on November 5th, and will be available in store to purchase as well at this time.

JERSEY AUCTION & BLANK JERSEY SALE presented by Barry’s Construction
The Game Worn/Isssued player jerseys for the Charity game will be auctioned live on our partner program Dash leading up to and after the end of the game.
QR codes for fans to easily navigate to the Dash website to make their bids are displayed throughout the concourse during the game as well as a bidding station in the south concourse with volunteers ready to help you set up your account and make a bid on your favourite players jersey. Several blank jerseys used for the team are available for sale following the game on the Attack Shack website and in store. There will also be the opportunity for fans to bid on specially customized Attack Alumni Jerseys, which will feature the names and numbers of past Attack stars and will be signed by the player.
Fundraising Recap
Attack and the HFC Committee are proud to announce that our grand total raised for the 22/23 season is $48,795.75!
