Hockey Fights Cancer Charity Game Night Returns Saturday
The Owen Sound Attack and the Canadian Cancer Society have come together once again to host our third edition of Hockey Fights Cancer this Saturday November 5th as we host the London Knights.
The Attack and the Canadian Cancer Society have created a strong partnership over many years of charity involvement, raising money for local transportation and support services for the people of Grey Bruce living with Cancer.
This Saturday will feature many of the same charity game staples that Attack fans come to expect. This includes the Chuck-A-Puck sponsored by our partners at Driver Seat with a chance to win unique items including a special prize from DC Taylor Jewellers, bucket pass, silent auction featuring Kitchenaid, Signed NHL jerseys, and more, I Fight For Signs for sale on the concourse and in the store, as well as our game-worn and game issued jerseys sponsored by Barry’s Construction which are being auctioned off online through DASH.
“The Attack are thrilled to welcome back the Cancer Society and all of our partners that have helped make this tradition so successful and rewarding.” Said Attack Coordinator of Community Relations Evan Longland, “Now on the 3rd edition of our Hockey Fights Cancer Night, we look forward to having our Charity Night activities along with a few new and exciting additions that we hope will help raise more money for charity.”
Owen Sound will don specialty white and lavender threads when they face the Knights, featuring the National Hockey League’s Hockey Fights Cancer logo on a clean yet prominent design layout. After the auction finishes on Sunday, the Attack will sell several blank jerseys through the Attack Shack team store. New this year fans will have a chance to buy specially customized Hockey Fights Cancer Alumni Jerseys, signed by 3 former stars and fan favorites featuring the same number and name bars as they wore playing in Owen Sound. More on this auction will be announced during the game Saturday.
