Preview: Bears Set for Western Conference Foes This Weekend
The Owen Sound Attack will kick off post trade deadline play with a pair of games this Friday and Saturday night. The Bears will kick off the weekend at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia before returning to the Bayshore for a Saturday night showdown with the London Knights. Game time in Sarnia is 7:05pm, while Saturday is a 7pm start time.
Friday night will be the third meeting between the Attack and Sting this season with both teams having won a game, each by a score of 5-2 on home ice. Both teams will be looking to secure the much needed victory and two points in the standings with Sting currently sitting 2 points out of sixth place and the Attack 7 points back of eighth place. Friday nights game can be seen on Rogers Television Georgian Bay, streamed on CHLtv and heard on 560 CFOS Bear Radio.
Saturday will be the fifth meeting of the season between the Knights and Attack, third at the Bayshore. The Knights have won the previous four meetings, two of them in overtime and one in a shootout. The Attack will want to maintain their discipline and not give the Knights top ranked power play and opportunity to get on the score board. Tickets for Saturdays game, while limited, can be purchased at the MacVicar & McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office, over the phone at 519-371-7452 or online at tickets.attackhockey.com. If you not able to attend the game will be available on Rogers Television Georgian Bay and streamed on CHLtv.
