Generals Motor Into Bayshore
The Attack will be back at home for the first time in seven games on Saturday night to face off against the red hot Oshawa Generals as Bruce Power presents all of the action.
This will be the first of two meetings between the teams this season. The game on Saturday will mark the third game in as many nights for the Attack, who will then have a break until Nov. 23rd, where they will take on Belleville at home. The Attack are guaranteed to come back home Saturday night with at least a .500 record, which is impressive considering the team has played fifteen of its first twenty three games on the road.
The Attack are currently in 7th place in the west, but with a strong showing over the next few games they could surge past Windsor and Saginaw, who sit above them in the standings.
Saturday, November 16-13: Oshawa @ Owen Sound
The Generals have gone 8-2 in their past ten games, and currently sit first within the eastern conference. They are also tied with the Erie Otters for first place in the OHL. They are powered by their strong offense, which currently boasts 4 players with a point per game average or higher. Winger Michael Dal Colle leads their scoring with 37 points in his 21 games this season. That total is good for second in scoring in the OHL, only trailing Connor Brown from Erie .
The Gens seem to be able to do it at both ends of the ice as they are tied with Kingston for the most goals scored in the Eastern Conference with 81 and lead the Eastern Conference with the fewest goals against at 57.
Look Out For: Scott Laughton has put together a strong start for the Generals. The Philadelphia first rounder has already scored 31 points in just 17 games, while keeping an impressive plus/minus of +8.
