Game On at the Lum
The Owen Sound Attack have returned home from Sault Ste. Marie with a split in their Western Conference Quarter Finals and will be looking to take a 2-1 series lead. The Attack won a thrilling game one in Sault Ste. Marie, 5-4 in Overtime but dropped a 7-3 decision on Saturday night.
Santino Centorame has lead the offensive charge for the Attack, netting three goals in the first two games, while Zach Nastasiuk and Daniel Milne also have three points each. The Attack will also have last change at home, meaning Head Coach Greg Ireland can better match-up against the Hounds.
For the Attack to have success, the line of Holden Cook, Kyle Hope and Kurtis Gabriel will need to get going. The trio was hot down the stretch for the Attack, but only Holden Cook has an assist thus far. The Attack have scored eight goals in two games, but Hounds stopper Matt Murray is one of the best junior goalies in the World, so for the Attack to have success, their top line will need to find the back of the net.
Jared McCann is one of the top prospects in Junior Hockey and is leading the offensive charge for the Hounds with a pair of goals and a pair of assists in two games.
Tickets for Games 3 and 4 of the series are available at the Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452. Fans are reminded to wear red to the Bayshore in support of the boys!
