Cat – Attacker of the Week
The Owen Sound Attack has named veteran forward Daniel Catenacci the clubs Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.
Catenacci and the Attack took to the ice on Wednesday against the Plymouth Whalers in search of their 3rd straight win. Catenacci got the Attack on the board with his 4th of the season and chipped in with an assist en route to a 4-2 Attack win.
The Attack would not play again until Saturday and Catenacci picked up exactly where he left off, tallying 2 goals, including the game tying goal with under a minute left. The Newmarket native also chipped in with an assist and a shootout goal in the 5-4 win.
Catenacci finished the week with 3 goals and an assist and now has 11 points in 9 Ontario Hockey League games this season.
The Attack is back in action at home this Friday and Saturday night when they play host to the Ottawa 67’s and Oshawa Generals. Game time both nights is 7:30pm. A reminder to Early Bird Season Ticket Holders that Friday is the first rain check night of the season.
