Attack to host Fronts in weekend wrap up

The Owen Sound Attack wrap up their weekend of three games in three nights with a home contest against the Kingston Frontenacs on Saturday, Jan. 9.

Owen Sound comes into the game, a 7:30pm puck drop, off of a big 5-4 overtime victory in Sarnia against the Sting, a game that saw the Attack snap  a three game losing streak.

Ethan Szypula would score twice and add an assist in the win, while sophomore forward Kevin Hancock continued his hot play with a goal and a pair of helpers to give him nine points over the team’s last 10 games.

Bryson Cianfrone would be the overtime hero for the Attack, who now sit at 17-15-5-2 on the year, good for 4th in the Midwest Division.

The Kingston Frontenacs make their way to the Scenic City after disposing of the Oshawa Generals on Friday night. The win increased the Fronts’ lead in the Eastern Conference to four points over the Barrie Colts.
