Attack Announce Eleventh through Fourteenth Round Selections
The Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League is please to announce that with their 11th round selection (209th overall) in the 2009 OHL Priority Draft, they have selected Nathan Granitto of the Mississauga Senators. The 5’11, 155lb forward 22 goals to go along with 29 assists this past season

With their 2nd selection in the 11th round of the OHL Priority Selection (219th overall), the Attack drafted 6’02, 190lb defenseman Greg Staeger of the London Knights. Staeger tallied 6 goals to go along with 10 assists and 50 Penalty minutes in 2008/2009.

The 12th round saw the Attack add some local talent to the depth chart when they selected 6’0, 180lb defenseman Austin Rigney of the Grey-Bruce Highlanders. Rigney, a 6’0, 180lb defenseman notched 5 goals and 9 assists to go along with 60 penalty minutes for the Highlanders last season.

With the their first pick in the 13th round, the Attack chose to add some depth in goal by selecting John-Paul Cesario of the Toronto Red Wings Minor Midgets. Cesario is listed at 5’11, 160lbs.

6’02, 180lb Taylor Wade was next on the list for the Attack when they were slotted to pick in the 252nd overall spot in the 13th round. Taylor, a left winger for the Toronto Titans is described as a physical player with an offensive upside.

In the 14th round, with the 269th overall pick the Attack selected Brad McClure of the Huron Perth Lakers. The 5’10, 145lb left winger netted 23 goals to go along with 20 assists in 45 games played.
