The Attack announced Wednesday the signing of OHL Draft First rounder Max Delisle.
Hailing from Cornwall, ON Delisle says he felt honoured to be pick by Owen Sound and is “excited to get started’.
“While watching my brother play for this team last year I saw what an amazing organization and community Owen Sound is and I am so happy to get to be a part of it. Delisle will be joining his older brother Tristan Delisle, who was traded to Owen Sound from the Oshawa Generals during the 2024-25 season. The Delisle brothers will become part of the hand full of sibling duos the Attack franchise have seen.
“I am very thankful to all my family and coaches who have helped me get to this point, and am very excited to get started.”
Standing at 6’0″ and 175 pounds, Delisle was selected by Owen Sound during the first round (5th overall) in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray says he is excited to ‘bring a player in the calibre of Max to the organization’.
“He is a very competitive two-way centre-man that has the ability to play anyway the coach would want. I’m looking forward to seeing Max in his Attack uniform in September and we are excited to help him achieve his ultimate hockey goals. We would like to welcome Max and his family to the Attack organization.”
Previously with the Toronto Titans (GTHLU16), Delisle racked up 41 goals and 67 assists in 64 games during the 2024-25 Hockey Season.
Attack Head Coach, Scott Wray feels fans will really grow to love Delisle for him game and extensive hockey IQ .
“We’re really excited for Max to join our organization. Max is a player that we identified really early on in the season and we truly feel he plays our way. He’s a 200 foot player and probably is one of the most physical players in the draft.”
