Attack Sign Defencemen John Banks From BCHL Sherwood Park Crusaders
The Owen Sound Attack announced Monday afternoon the signing of Defencemen John-Alex Banks from the Sherwood Park Crusaders for the upcoming 2025-26 Attack season.
Banks comes with a recorded 7 goals , 24 assists and 31 points in a 47 game splayed season with the Crusaders during the 2024-25 season. Showcasing a strong offensive flare and high-end feet, Attack General Manager Dale DeGray says he looks forward to seeing Banks with an Attack jersey on come September time.

Native to Secaucus, New Jersey, Banks has alsohas a history along side the Attack’s third round pick (57th overall) in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft, Nicholas Sykora. Both having crossed paths with the North Jersey Avalanche.
