Attack Sign 2020 1st Round Pick Cedrick Guindon
The Owen Sound Attack have signed Cedrick Guindon, 2020 1st round selection, to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement.
Drafted 10th overall, the Rockland, ON native scored 24 times in 41 games with the Rockland Nationals program and added 35 assists. Guindon was named the HEO Player of the Year for his efforts in the Eastern Ontario circuit.
The forward is looking forward to getting started in Owen Sound: “I am extremely excited to sign with the Attack. It is a huge accomplishment and a dream come true. Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray says the young prospect is electric: “He’s a great two-way player with a lot of speed. He fits the style of play we want in Owen Sound and he’s going to be a great addition on and off the ice. He brings a lot of maturity with him along with a high compete level.”
