Attack Conclude Road Schedule Before Return Home
Just two more games. That’s all there is left for the Attack on their current 5-game road schedule.
Once the Bears conclude the road schedule, they will return home for their first game in two weeks at the Bayshore.
The Attack will travel north, up Highway 26 Thursday night for the third meeting of the season against the Barrie Colts. The team’s have split the first two meetings of the season, each winning on the road. Owen Sound claimed the first meeting 4-3 back in November, while they fell short in a tough first game back from a long pause in early January, when the teams met at the Bayshore.
Owen Sound will then travel south along Highway 21, as they visit Sarnia, for a second meeting in just nine days with the Sting. The Attack earned a big 5-0 win, last Wednesday when they were in Sarnia, playing one of their most complete games of the season. The Sting for their part, are coming off a big win over a strong London Knights team over the weekend. Much like the Attack, the Sting had a slow start to the season, but have turned things around, and are climbing back into a crowded Western Conference Playoff picture.
The Bears conclude their week’s schedule welcoming the Sting to the Bayshore, Sunday afternoon. The last time the Sting visited the Bayshore, Owen Sound claimed a big 4-3 win. The Attack have been solid on home ice this year, with an 8-5 record while in the confines of the Bayshore. The Sting have been road warriors this year however, as eight of their 13 wins have come away from Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
With zero attendance for home games, fans can catch all the Attack action, home and away on RogersTV and OHL Live, or listen live on 560 CFOS Bears Radio.
The weekend preview is presented by Joe Tomatoes located in the Galaxy Plaza on the Sunset Strip.
