OHL Power Rankings: Nov. 24, 2025
Who’s up:
Windsor Spitfires – up two spots to #3 this week
The Spitfires took two of three last week, splitting a home-and-home with Saginaw before beating Guelph 5-1 in their Teddy Bear Toss game on Sunday. Carson Woodall brought down the bears early in the first period as Windsor won a 15th straight Teddy Bear Toss matchup.
Flint Firebirds – up two spots to #4 this week
The Firebirds continue to torch the rest of the league, entering a fresh week on a nine-game winning streak. Flint’s latest casualties are Brampton, Guelph and Owen Sound as the Birds wrapped up a successful road trip. New York Rangers prospect Nathan Aspinall has been a steady source of production, leading the team with 32 points (15-17–32) over 21 games.
Barrie Colts – up two spots to #9 this week
The Colts bested Sudbury, Erie and Niagara in three straight road wins. Goaltending continues to be a strength and Ben Hrebik and Arvin Jaswal both backstopped the teams to wins last week. Good things happen with first round NHL Draft picks Cole Beaudoin and Kashawn Aitcheson on the ice as both own a plus/minus rating of plus-16.
Peterborough Petes – up three spots to #10 this week
The Petes are roaring up the Eastern Conference standings, soundly defeating Brampton 7-1 before back-to-back wins over the Kingston Frontenacs. Mary Brown’s Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week Easton Rye remains steady in the crease while top scorer Adam Novotny is off the CHL USA Prospects Challenge on a nine-game point streak. Brennan Faulker had a productive weekend and sits second in team goal-scoring with 11 tallies.
Saginaw Spirit – up one spot to #15 this week
The Spirit split decisions with the conference-leading Windsor Spitfires, winning the back half of a home-and-home by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Stepan Shurygin turned aside 31-of-32 shots in the win, and continues to carry a steady workload in the Spirit crease.
Who’s down:
London Knights – down two spots to #5 this week
The Knights lost in North Bay and Sudbury before closing out the road trip on a high note with a 4-3 win in Sault Ste. Marie. The KNights are 14-7-3-0 for fourth in the Western Conference.
Soo Greyhounds – down two spots to #6 this week
The Hounds lost their lone matchup of the week, falling 4-3 to London at home on Saturday. Defenceman Chase Reid continues to lead the team offensively with 28 points (10-18–28) over 25 games. He’ll suit up for Team CHL at this week’s CHL/USA Prospects Challenge.
Kingston Frontenacs – down two spots to #11 this week
The Fronts picked up a pair of points despite losing all three outings last week. They fell in a shootout to the Ottawa 67’s, lost in overtime against Peterborough and fell 6-2 to the Petes on the road Saturday night. Troy Mann’s squad sits at .500 through 24 games. The Fronts have had a tough time getting things going offensively.
Guelph Storm – down two spots to #12 this week
The good news is that the Storm were awarded hosting rights to the 2027 Memorial Cup. The bad is that they’re riding a four-game losing slide, dropping decisions to Kitchener, Owen Sound, Flint and Windsor. They surrendered 22 goals over those four losses.
Niagara IceDogs – down one spot to #13 this week
Niagara’s losing slide has reached seven games after falling short against Brantford and Barrie on home ice. They try and get things going on Friday night in Kitchener.
Brampton Steelheads – down one spot to #16 this week
The Trout hang around on the rankings this week, losing 7-1 to Peterborough and 2-1 in a shootout to red hot Flint before beating the Sudbury Wolves 8-2 on Sunday. Defenceman Jakub Fibigr had himself a four-point performance (2-2–4) in Sunday’s win.
