G.R.A.C.E. Announced as 2nd Charity Game Partner for 2023-24 Season
The Owen Sound Attack organization is excited to announce its 2nd Charity Game partner for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
On Saturday March 2nd, when the Attack host the Saginaw Spirit, we will welcome GRACE (Georgian Riding Association for Challenged Equestrians) to the Bayshore.
GRACE is a locally focused Charity organization supporting persons from Owen Sound and the greater Grey Bruce area. They provide one of a kind support and therapy for individuals living with physical, mental or emotional challenges with their incredible lineup of therapy horses and countless volunteers.
“GRACE epitomizes what the Attack look for in a Charity Game partner.” Said Owen Sound’s Coordinator of Community Relations Evan Longland, “The committed team of volunteers at GRACE provide a unique and incredible experience for local families and individuals struggling to break through physical and emotional barriers. The Attack are thrilled to help support and promote such a strong, special, and locally connected Charity service.”
“At GRACE, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for individuals with physical, mental and/or emotional challenges using our team of therapy horses.” said Renee Robins President of GRACE, “This game has given GRACE the opportunity to educate the community on our mission; both for those that struggle and for those that may help us provide therapy. It has given us the opportunity to raise funds and lesson our challenges of operation, so that our focus may remain on the task of providing compassion, friendship, love and laughter.”
This Charity night will feature many of the traditional aspects of an Attack Charity Game including one-of-a-kind jerseys that will be worn during the game and auctioned to fans, a bucket pass, silent auction, puck toss, and more events leading up to and on game night. The Attack organization looks forward to working with GRACE and creating a game night that fans and the community can thoroughly enjoy and support.
