More Midwest Rivals on Weekend Slate
Coming off a weekend where they earned three out of four points against Midwest Division rivals, the Owen Sound Attack are scheduled for another pair of weekend match ups with divisional rivals.
The weekend opens with a rare Saturday, Friday home-and-home with the Kitchener Rangers. After a convincing 4-1 win this past Saturday night at the Bayshore, the Attack will travel to the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium to wrap the home-and-home mini series. The victory marked the Attack’s fourth win of the season, all of which have come in the friendly confines of the Bayshore. Owen Sound has played strong away from home ice, but with little results, an overtime and shootout loss the only games in which they registered points. The young Attack roster will look to use the momentum from the previous game as they travel to Kitchener, searching for their first road win.
Saturday sees a familiar foe visit the Bayshore, as the Guelph Storm are in town. The Attack will look to continue their Saturday night win streak, as they have won the past four Saturday night games. With that streak and momentum, Owen Sound will look to exact some revenge on a Storm team that has had their way with Owen Sound early in the year, as the Attack have been out scored 16-7 in the prior two meetings.
Tickets are still available for Saturday night’s game, and can be purchased online or by calling or visiting the McVicar and McComb Sutton Reality Box Office.
The Weekend Preview is presented by Joe Tomatoes located in the Galaxy Plaza on the sunset strip.
