Alyscia Warner
Alyscia Warner is entering her second season with the Oil Kings after joining OEG in September, 2018. As Manager, Communications, Alyscia is responsible for internal and external Oil Kings communications including trades, game recaps, coverage of the WHL Bantam Draft, and more. She is also the key contact for day-to-day media inquiries and game day press, scouting and media affairs.
Prior to joining the Oil Kings, Alyscia covered multiple Ontario Hockey League teams from 2010 to 2018. Most recently, she served as Manager of Media and Communications for the Kitchener Rangers for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. In her role with the Rangers, she oversaw the growth and maintenance of the Rangers social media presence, created and distributed all Rangers external communications to the media and the community, and was responsible for game recaps of all Rangers exhibition, regular season and playoff games. She also generated video content for the team website and social media avenues as the host of Rangers Vision and was the primary contact for all media and scout inquiries.
She worked with the Mississauga Steelheads (St. Michael’s Majors) in a number of capacities for five seasons from 2010 to 2015 such as Media and Public Relations, On-Air Host for RogersTV, and also helped ensure the efficiency of media and communications during the 2011 Memorial Cup.
Alyscia covered the Oshawa Generals in a journalistic capacity for one season in 2010-11, and was the online scorer and website creator for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League from 2010 to 2015.
Alyscia studied Radio and Television Sports Broadcasting at the College of Sports Media in Toronto, Ontario.
