The Oil Kings are proud to have donated over 1,874 pounds of food to Edmonton’s Food Bank during our 2025 Thanksgiving food drive! That brings the three-season total for the food drive up to over 6,500 pounds of food donated to Edmonton’s Food Bank! There was also $1,000 in cash donated to Edmonton’s Food Bank which brings the total across three seasons to over $3,000 donated. Fans were encouraged to bring boxes of pasta to the Oil Kings Thanksgiving Monday game on October 13 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes to use as noise makers throughout the game then drop in donation bins on exit! Boxes of pasta were also available for purchase throughout the game with all proceeds being donated to Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Edmonton’s Food Bank supports over 43,000 people per month and the Oil Kings are proud to support such an important organization.
