Teddy Bear Toss Right Around The Corner

Sarnia, ON – It has fast become a holiday tradition and one of the most anticipated dates on the Sarnia Sting calender.
On Wednesday, a media conference took place at Lambton Ford to kick off the 2004 edition, and 7th season, of the Sting Teddy Bear Toss.
Each year, Lambton Ford and Radio Sarnia Lambton have played a vital role in the organization of the event.
The date for this year’s event will be Friday December 10th when the Sting take on division rival, the Plymouth Whalers.
Fans are encouraged to bring out their bear or any stuffed toy and throw them on to the ice when the Sting score their first goal of the game.
All of the stuffed animals collected will be distributed locally through various agencies dealing with the youth of our city, who experience lesser fortunes especially during the holiday season.
