Sting Release Lane Sim To Charlottetown Islanders

Today, General Manager Dylan Seca announced that forward Lane Sim has been released from the Sarnia Sting to the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL.

Sim was signed in the Spring of 2023 to the team in the 3rd round, 53rd overall during the OHL Priority Selection.

On Lane, Seca shares:

“This is a difficult move, but one we respect. Lane was a great teammate and dedicated member of our program but ultimately he wanted the opportunity to play more and this move facilitates that request. We wish Lane all the best.”
