The Sarnia Sting place a priority on paying tribute to the men and women who serve our country, making the ultimate sacralise for our freedom.
The Veterans Way tribute takes a moment during select Sting home games each year for us to reflect on these sacralises and honour the brave individuals who are our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, mothers & fathers. For each Veterans Way Tribute one (1) current of former member of the Canadian Military is welcomed to the game with their family. The honoured veteran will receive up to ten (10) complimentary tickets to the game, during intermission he or she will be paraded on ice where public address provides a bio of their accomplishments and service. The Verdean is than presented with a customized Sarnia Sting jersey complete with their name and number.
