Welcome to the Sarnia Sting Hockey Academy presented by Canadian Tire
In March 2021 the Sarnia Sting officially launched the Sarnia Sting Hockey Academy. A program that focuses on the grass-roots growth of the game in Sarnia-Lambton. The program aims to use the Sting platform to assist in providing everyone in the Sarnia-Lambton community, regardless of age, experience, and skill level an opportunity to play and develop in the game of hockey.
The Academy will involve several annual initiatives, including on and off-ice hockey training, virtual and in person coaching instruction, social media content as well as equipment recycling programs to help provide more kids opportunity to play locally.
The Sarnia Sting Hockey Academy is one initiative to help the club take action towards the organizational mission and core values.
Pro Foundations by Sting Associate Coach Brad Staubitz is the elite hockey development branch of the Sting Hockey Academy by Canadian Tire. Pro Foundations provides NHL caliber training exclusively for Junior, College, and Professional players as well as AAA players from the U16 age group or older looking to obtain high levels of injury free performance and take advantage of the off-season so they return stronger, faster, and mentally prepared.
